Thoracic Thoracic Spine, Sacroiliac Joint & Advanced Techniques
This two‑day intensive course is ideal for clinicians working in the Musculoskeletal (MSK) field who want to build confident, practical skills in the thoracic spine, sacroiliac joint, and advanced techniques, while also revisiting key clinical concepts from Foundation Units 1 and 2. It is designed for those who prefer to avoid the exam element of the traditional Foundation Unit 3 module and are not looking to progress toward the SOMM Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

- Apply advanced manual and soft tissue techniques to the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) and thoracic spine
- Strengthen clinical reasoning and problem-solving strategies
- Review and integrate key concepts and skills from Units 1 & 2
- Improve confidence and efficiency in MSK patient management

Learning Outcomes

CPD Certificate will be provided on completion. This course isn’t credit rated and is not a pathway to obtaining the SOMM Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine. To obtain the SOMM Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine you must attend and complete the Foundation Unit 3 course (Thoracic Spine, Sacroiliac Joint & Advanced Technique), further details can be found on our website sommcourses.org.
